I was doing some family history stuff, and I ran across some information that I am questioning. Acording to what I have found is that my great, great, great grandfather, John Washington Phelps (B.25, March 1835) married a Cathrrine Carpenter (B.30 May, 1834). They were married 19, September, 1855 in Mason Cty, IL. She is thought to be a cousin of Cole Younger (the Younger Brothers). I was wondering if this a correct connection or not.
