I am basing it on the following websitehttp://earlylds.com/getperson.php?personID=I12761&tree=Earlyldshttp://earlylds.com/getperson.php?personID=I12761&tree=Earlylds.It has original sources, ie LDS membership, listed, but I have not checked those.I don't take sources like Family Search or One World Tree as authoritative sources since I know there is much undocumented info there that current LDS members may have entered regarding their ancestors. In this case Younger McCaslin was an active LDS member himself and was baptised for himself, not someone else being baptised for him after his death. Therefore I think that the info on his parents was given by him at that time. Not that everyone knows their mother's maiden name or reports it accurately, but most often it is.I am going back to SLC this Nov and will see if I can check those sources, but I am not sure that I will be able to as sometimes the LDS church records are only open to members. The date given for the sealing of the marriage of John McCauslin and Susannah Younger is 1955 therefore it is not any type of proof.
