Hi Kathie,
I visited the NC Archives today and I'm fairly convinced that our Jacob YB 1772 was born in GA son of John Miles YB jr. Both John Miles were in Columbia Co GA before the Revol war. This info is on the DAR database. William and Jacob were in the Faw regiment of Ga in war of 1812. Our documented link to John Miles must be through John M jr's brother Henry Miles' decendents. The Jacob who married Delilah Hood looks like the Peter line in Orange Co NC to me.

Guess we are NC State Johnston Co farmers, not UNC Orange county farmers?

Best regards,
Joel Y

Thanks again for the notes from Curtis.
