Hardaway Youngblood

I recently received the following information from The Gwinnett-Historical Society. This item appeared in The September 5, 1901 edition of THE NEWS HERALD noting the superior court news: The court was all day trying the case of Seletie O. Davis vs R.A. Youngblood, administrator. The old man raised this girl, and for waiting on him during the last eight years of his life she sued the estate for $1,4000 ... a large array of witnesses were introduced to prove that this woman rendered good and valuable service to the old man ... the jury rendered a compromise verdict. The woman was given $144.

Other research shows that R.A. Youngblood was the son of Hardaway Davis. Seletie Ophelia Davis was my GGrandmother. Her son, William Hardaway Davis was my grandfather. I would appreciate any information anyone else might have concerning the above. Thanks!
