Hello Jordan. These names do sound vaguely familiar. Was Addie's maiden name Wilson. Did she marry first to one brother of the Young family and have one boy and after her first husband's death, did she marry his brother and have another boy? Possibly Ira and Clarence? If so, we are related though distantly. It sounds like the same family. Was Lawrence or Clifford a post man? I am trying to recall, but it has been quite a while since I researched this family of Youngs. They were in Caldwell's Manor, Quebec Canada then in or about 1840, they moved back into the US to St. Lawrence Co and finally to Moira, Franklin Co. NY. I believe that Clarence and Ira were brothers or half brothers as mentioned but the first husband of Addie died of a train accident. I think that Clarence and Ira were children of Alexander Young the son of James Young and Saloma (Comar) Young. Saloma died in Moira in 1855 and her husband's grave has not been found but her tombstone is in the Moira Cemetery. James and Saloma's children were: Alexander, Crosby L. also called Alanason Crosby YOung, Peter, Andrew, James and one known daughter, Lydia who married in St. Lawrence Co NY to Salon Page. Ater the death of Saloma, about 1866, the adult children of James and Saloma moved west to Sauk Co WI. Lydia lost her husband and moved further west to Spink County SD and Crosby L. Young married Eliza Ann Burnett and moved to Clear Lake, Cerro Gordo Co IA. I have much to share on this family. If you are near Moira, the booklet regarding the Youngs and Mallorys' of Franklin Co that was written by Dorothy (Young) Alldredge is in the little history center there. Dorothy gave it to me to pass on to the Moira Center. Feel free to call me with any questions I might be able to answer. (651) 653-6882. Some people do say that James Sr. was a descendant of Alexander Young the Loyalist who came to America with Major Skene of Skenesville NY and fought in the French and Indian War before going to Canada. Also see a book called Forests and Clearings which names those in Alexander Sr.'s family. Would be great to exchange information. I am also on Face bookMarjorie Weaver Bednarek, White Bear Lake, MN
