Hi, I might be able to help you although I don't think we are related. I am a Young and I was born in Pemiscot Co. although haven't lived there in years. My family started out in Decatur Co. Tenn, then went to Weakley Co, then Obion Co. then Lake Co. and finally came over to Pemiscot Co in the early 1900s. John is a common name in our family. There were two families of Young's in Decatur Co. Tenn. and they were not related. The other Young's were descendants of John Young, born 1806 in NC and Sarah Percle, born 1802 NC. There were people on this forum who were descended from them. Try searching for Decatur Tennessee or TN and see what you find. We've had our dna done and without it you are going to be doing some real searching as I'm sure you know, John Young is a common name. Let me know if I can do anything for you. Nita
