This line has a mystery most lines do not have. The name John Younce b.1760 could be Johan George or Johan Lawrence ect. changed from German Jans or Jundt to Younce-Yount-Yance ect. He may have married Rhoda Fouts but only one book mentions her. Yet the name went down in grandchildren. He may have m. M.Tesch in Emmanus Penn and shod Gen.Washingtons horses there then moved to N.C.near Winston-Salem a Moravian sect site. We know another John Younce with his wife is buried there but no children. Our John with Jacob and others of the Brethren Church went on to Ashe county, bought
land on New River at Idelwild and Buffalo Creek near Jefferson. His bro Lawrence and sister Mary visited him He had Phillip minister who moved on to Miami Co. Ohio
