Looking for any information on a Gertrude Youmans who married my G.Grandfather Wellington Leroy (W.L.) Morris.
Wellingtons' first wife (Ella Wickham, with whom he had son Frank.. possibly two other children.. not sure) died 1882 (possibly) and some time after that he married Gertrude Youmans. They lived in Whittemore Iowa, and Kossuth County Iowa before retiring to Algona Iowa just before Wellington passed away in 1915.
Gertrude and W.L Morris had at least two children together, possibly four... not sure. The two known children are Fay (born 1900) and Elsyn (sp).
Gertrude may have then moved to California to be with relatives until she passed away 1932 (possibly) and was burried in Iowa.
We have very little information on Gertrude's ancestory. Can anyone help.?
