My Benjamin Youmans was born in 1749 in Cornwell, England and married Sarah Howell. His son Samuel b. 1781 married Elizabeth DeWitt b. 1781. There son William C. Youmans b. 1811 in Harmony N.J. married Mary Ann Snyder in 1832. William and Mary Ann had 14 children: Rachael b. 1834 and William P. b. 1836 - nothing further known about them. I assume they died in infancy and never made the trip to Ohio in 1836. Morris b. 1837,Caroline b. 1839, Jacob b. 1840 (my great grandfather)Samuel b. 1842, Isabel b. 1844, Aaron and Moses - twins born in 1846, Roxie b. 1849, Ida b.1851, Oliver b.1853, Jessie b. 1856 and Brigg b. 1863. the source of this information is a family bible.
