The name has been spelt/misspelt many ways... Yoselevich, Ioselewich, Joselavitz, Yeslevitz, and so forth. My branch of the family starts with Bentsion Fishelev Yoselevich emigrating from Nezhin, Ukraine (then Russia) thru Hamburg to Philadelphia about Sep, 1890. Already he had wife Rifka-Pesya Berkovna Chaletsky, and children Sara, Yudaska, Ber, and Izrael Nachum. By the 1900's, only one child is left, Izrael Nachum, who goes by Nathan. Bentsion uses the name Benjamin, and Rifka-Pesya goes by Bessie. In Philadelphia, they have more children, Morris, Frank, and Irving. By 1910 Benjamin has died, and by 1912 Nathan starts using the last name of Nathans. He marries a Kate Spinock, and has children Bernard, David, and Ruth. Frank marries at least twice (plus affairs), first to Sadie, and has children Dorothy, and son (name unknown). Then he marries Agnes and has Constance. Irving marries a Sara, but I do not know of any children. I do not think Morris ever marries.
Have traced descendents of Bernard, Ruth, and Constance. Looking for descendents of David and Dorothy.
