Diane, thank you so much for responding to my note. I have so many questions about the Yorks I don't even know where to start. I have found a few references to James Wiley and Sarah Frances on this site, plus some on Rootsweb. I remember my grandmother talking about "your Aunt Ina", as she would refer to her, but as far as I can remember, we never met her. I assume she married and stayed in North Mississippi?? I remember Aunt Stevie coming to see us one time. Her daughter, S.D. Jenkins (I think) brought her down from the Delta. Mawmaw was a quiet woman, but she had quite a fun-loving side to her especially around us grandkids. She would dance with us, chewed tobacco, and always asked us kids if we wanted some of her "chewing gum". She taught herself to drive after my grandfather died and was so short that she had to look through the steering wheel to see the road.

I would love it if you have any information you can share with me. I've got a couple of pictures that I'd be happy to share with you if you'd like.
