John, I just `browsed' the genforum web site and saw your message. I am the warmest of thoughts about your father, Uncle Herman. As I left Paducah in 1940, I did not know your mother, Aunt Virginia very well, nor, did I have any contact with you or your brother or sister. I did visit with Uncle Herman around 1951 and, again, when Tommy died. Your Dad was a wonderful man. I would like to correspond with you and can tell you some "tall tails" regarding your Father and his first wife, Aunt Ruth, and old Yopp Seed Company (where all family members were given an education of one sort or another). I do have a favor to ask - do you have an old family album which might have a picture of my mother, `Aunt Maggie', as she was known? I do not have a picture of her as an adult - I suppose the flood of 1937, the year she died, destroyed them. Let me here from you.
