Sarah Jane Yontz, 1853, VA

Looking for Information on Sarah Jane Yonts. Sarah was born abt. 1853
in Wythe, VA. On Aug 2, 1874 she married George Washington Worley in
Logan, Phillips, KS. George was born on Sep 27, 1852 in Laclede, MO.

My g-grandmother was Maude May Worley who was born on May 22, 1881 in
?KS. I believe Maude is Sarah and Georges daughter bu so far I have not
been ablet to find to records to prove this. I tried to get a birth
certificate for Maude but was told that KS didn't require recording of
births back then and so far no one had been able to find one.

I do have the following circumstantial evidence:
1. Maude's Death Certificate lists her father's name as George Worley
born in MO and her mother's name as Jane Yontz born in VA.
2. An Affadivit of Birth for my grandfather (Claude Jacobs) who was
born in 1903, that was filed in 1940. This was a year after Maude had
died but it lists her birthplace as Clay Center, KS. I now think that
this was an error and Maude was probably born in Logan, KS where George
and Sarah were married.
3. Maude and Claude's Marriage License says they were married in
Laclede, MO. Since this is where George was born, I think this was more
than just a coincidence.

I'm also interested in finding out if Maude had any siblings or if she
was an only child

If anyone has any records that would tie this all together I would
appreciate an email.
