I have a note that was given me that said William Poe Yohe had written: "I have a paragraph from DESCENDANTS OF JOHN WILLIAM HOLMES AND BARBARA YOHEY HOLMES which my cousin Mae Gooley found in the library in Huntington, Indiana--this states that she was a daughter of Jacob Lane and a mother whose maiden name was Stover (Barbara Yohey was born in York Co., PA on Mar. 4, 1832)." (William Poe Yohe is a Yohe researcher from the Easton> Washington Co. line of Yohe's, which also have Yohey's in.)

Jacob Lane Yohey is from the Adams Co. branch of the Joh/Yoh/Yohe/Yohey family. My records have (Polly) Anna Maria/Marie Stover b. Nov 10, 1797 PA, m. April 29, 1819 PA, d.August 30, 1833, 35 years 9 months 20 days.

For the most information contact Daniel Lee Wenger who is also related and has this family listed on his web site, but I can't find his new URL, so write him directly.
His site lists Jacob Yohey which I had copied down, Quote: Jacob L. Yohe, 1798.3.8 1891.12
Jacob was born in Berwick Twp. Adams Co. Pa. Baptised at Abbotstown Reformed Church, Abbotstown, Pa. 15 miles west of York, Pa. on April 15, 1798. Jacob of Paradise Twp. York Co. Pa. married Anna Maria (Polly) Stover, 1797.11.10 1833 on April 29, 1819, by Pastor Helfenstein according to Gods laws in the presence of many witnesses. Married Mary Orner?, 1800~ 1839.8.15,, ^ on Oct. 26, 1834. Married Susannah (Neff) Cocaran, 1825.10 1866.4.3,, ^ on Feb. 27, 1853. Married Nancy Canaday on March 6, 1872. No children from this marriage. He wrote letter to his son Daniel on Sept. 2, 1840 from Fulton, Hamilton Co. Ohio near Cincinnati asking when he would return home. Daniel had left home earlier. Jacob seemed to be facing hard times in 1840. By 1860 he had two farms and improved properties and was probably doing much better. Jacob had 4 wives and 19 children. Died at the age of 93 years 9 months. Buried in Cullin Cem. east of Royerton, Hamilton Twp. Delaware Co. Ind. near Muncie. DLW visited the cem. in 1994 to photograph the Jacob's stone. Mr. H. J. Yohe, Muncie Ind. has the Jacob Yohe bible. The information about Daniel Yohe's parents and sibling came from Beverly Funkhouser of Oklahoma. DLW learned of her existence from Charlotte Hill Ballard. Daniel had grown up without any information about Daniel Yohe's family, except for his descendents. Learning of Jacob and Polly's existance and was a great pleasure for DLW Pat Wilson from Wheatland, Wy. has additional information. Jacob was in the 1860 census in P.O. Albany, Niles Twp. Delaware Co. Ind. Age 62. A tailor Jacob was in the 1870 census in P.O. Muncie, Hamilton Twp. Delaware Co. Ind. A tailor. Muncie library has information. Oklahoma Historical Society library has information.

Also related is Jerry Lee Yohey who also has records for the Yohey family.

Hope this helps, I do have more but it's mostly available on line.
Take care
