Benjamin Yoe (c. 1772-1823) & son, portrait, Baltimore, MD, c. 1810
The January 2007 issue of ANTIQUES magazine on p. 181 pictures a portrait c. 1810 in Baltimore, MD, of Benjamin Yoe (c. 1772-1823) and his son Benjamin Franklin Yoe (b. 1804). The portrait is in the collection of the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts in Winston-Salem, NC.
This fine portrait should be made known to the Yoe family. I am scanning it in case any of their descendants might like a copy, either by email or by postal mail. Someone in the Yoe family ought to have it--it is too good to be missed by the family. It may not have extensive genealogy value, but it certainly does have a whole lot of family and historic value.

If it were a portrait of a Pease gentleman, I'd certainly want someone to do the same for me.
