Hello,
I live in Pearl River County MS. Sometimes I take a shortcut when I need to run into town ( Lumberton MS located in Lamar County MS ). I have always noticed a little fenced in area aprrox five x six feet painted white just passed the power company right of way off the road called Lavelle Ladner Road.
I stopped this morning and had a look in side the fenced in area and noticed two grave markers (growed up with weeds in side the fenced area). I stopped by the little store up the road from the house and ask the gentleman what he knew about it. He said it was called the Yoder cemetery by locals and only had two little girls buried in it. If you think you have a connection let me know and I can get back up there and clear some of the weeds out and take a photo if there are names on the marker. I think I know who owns the property ( they are not Yoder's )but would have to check some boundry lines to make sure.
I did a search on the net and someone took a photo of the fenced area but not the markers in side. Another post shows the Yoder cemetery to be at Hillsdale Road and Highway 11 ( north to Lumberton ). That info is incorrect, Lavelle Ladner being being about five miles east of there.
Not related to the Yoder's that I know of, however you never know being my maternal line 1620 VA connects to a lot of names and the paternal side 1715 VA/NC the same.
