An 8 year old Frederick Yoder appears in the 1880 census, with who we are assuming is his mother and his two half brothers. 1880 Schullykill Road, Birdsboro, Berks Co., PA Roll 1100 p. 258 ED 63 Zacharia Reber, 24, works in furnace (b.a. 1856) Mary Reber, 23, wife Adam Reber, 2, son William Reber, 6 months, son Edward Reber, 23, wheelwright (b.a. 1857) Leander Reber, 22, wife ----? Reber, 1, daughter Elizabeth Reber, 43, mother, widowed Frederick Yoder, 8, son Elizabeth Reber "mother" in this household was the widow of Jacob Reber who died Aug. 8, 1864, during the Civil War and is buried in VA where he died. Zachariah and Edward were sons of this same Eliabeth and Jacob Reber. We are assuming that Frederick Yoder is also a son of Elizabeth. In 1900 and 1910 Elizabeth was living with her daughter Alice (b.1862) and husband, John Wahl, in Pottstown, Montgomery Co, PA. In 1920 Elizabeth Reber was living in Pottstown, Montgomery Co., PA with her son "Frederick Reber" b. Nov. 1871. Trying to determine if Frederick Yoder of the 1880 census and Frederick Reber of the 1920 census are the same person. Also trying to determine who the Yoder father would have been.
