Was Jacob`s father named Nicholas?My great,great grandfather Peter Yockey,had a brother Jacob,Came from Germany,and settled in Tuscarawas Co.at canal Fulton,near Canton,Oh.in 1850. They spelled last name Jaki,in Germany,but changed it to Yockey when they came over here.In 1854 Peter went to Troy Grove, Ill.A sister Katherine married Fred Grosenbaugh,she lived in Oh.Died in 1860. Any conection?I`m just getting started in genealogy.Jean
