Jehoiakim, King of Judah, BCE 609 to 598 BCE
Is there a possibility that the name YOACHUM/YOCUM/YOAKIM and other variations of that last name, originated with the King of Judah, Jehoiakim, who reigned from 609 BCE (BC) to 598 BCE (BC)? [Reference 2 Kings Chapter 23 and Chapter 24].
He was the last King of Judah to reign before King Nebuchnezzar of Babylon carried off the "cream of the crop" of Jews in Judah including Jehoiakin, King of Judah, Jehoiakim's son. In 596 BCE (BC) Jerusalem and the First Temple built by King Solomon were destroyed by the Babylonians directed by King Nebuchnezzar.
What do you think?
