The person with the birthdate of December 27, 1848 is probably Wiley Huffaker Yoakum. I have never been able to establish his birthdate, but his tombstone reads (1849 - 1923). He married Nancy Jane Hendrix and they are both buried in Cowgill Cemetery, Caldwell Co., MO. According to census records they had a son Orville, born in 1890. This Orville is on the 1930 census living in Lee's Summit, Jackson Co., MO. His wive's name is Lola.
Wiley H. Yoakum was the son of Thomas H. Yoakum and Lucinda Carr of Claiborne Co., TN.
