Hello Mark,

I'm on this site by happy accident, looking for quite a different person, then clicked your letter.

I was born in Leighton Buzzard [1932],and in contact with several other Yirrells by virtue of the common but unusual name. A Mr David Yirrell of Toddington, Beds is arranging a reunion of all with family antecedence [Yirrell]on 29 June 2002,in Tebworth Village Hall, Beds, 4pm to 8 pm, I received an invitation yesterday! I am sure he would welcome your contact, and I will give you his 'tel no.after checking with him. Also MRS D.Walters[nee Yirrell]of Leighton is keenly putting her side of the familly tree together, which has the same roots as my line, so another contact there.

A pity you have left already, but if you pick this up ,make contact.

Alec Yirrell,
