Nearly a decade later, are you still working on this? :)

I am related to Sarah Ann's younger sister Mary Martha (1836-1919).

I don't know much more than you do. Adam appears to be buried in the Yingst Cemetery in Wheatfield, IL. http://clinton.ilgenweb.net/cemetery/wheatfield/yingstcem.htm

I'm not sure where his wife Martha is buried.

A search on familysearch.org for Adam Yingst (1800-1853) and wife Martha Ogle turns up 10 children! I'm not sure how accurate this information is.

I did find their family on the 1850 Census living in District 68, Clinton, Illinois with 6 children. Family members present - Adam and Martha with children: Sarah Ann, Christine, Martha (my Mary Martha), Elleanor, Catharine, and Adam.

The four older children were born in Ohio and the youngest two in Illinois.

Aside from Adam and Martha's marriage record, this is the earliest record I've been able to locate.
