You, sir, are a liar. When Grandma passed away, the only ones who bothered to come and pack up her belongings was Mom, Pop & Cheryl, Karen & Rob, and myself. You were nowhere to be found.
Mom then went to great lengths to sort through everything and label them with the names of those whom Grandma wanted to have the items. I know because I was there helping her. Where were you, Dear Uncle?
Mom then notified everyone she could. Do you know how many people came to pick things up or sent money to have it shipped to them? Not a single, solitary person. Why should it have been left to Mom to pay for shipping or to deliver the heirlooms?
And since you have the temerity to bring G-d into this, perhaps you should be reminded of a few things yourself:
Honour thy father and thy mother, that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. - Exodus 20:12 JPS
You chose not to take care of your mother when she was ailing. Mom, with assistance from Pop & Cheryl, took her in, provided her with love and care, and were with her till the end.
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. - Exodus 20:16 JPS
And yet here we find you telling lies about your own flesh and blood.
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house; thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his man-servant, nor his maid-servant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's. - Exodus 20:17 JPS
We can plainly see the spirit of covetousness at work in you, Dear Uncle. You were offered anything that you wanted. You said that you didn't want anything. Now, you've obviously changed your mind. So did you bother to call and ask for anything? Nope. You posted this false message instead.
Mom held onto everything, EVERYTHING, waiting for you, Aunt Marge, Billie Jo, Jennifer, Richard, Mark, Amanda, and Little Richard to come and get it or pay to have it shipped to you. Not a single one of you have done so. None of you have called, written, or visited. Interestingly enough, you treat Mom the same way you treated Grandma.
You should be ashamed of yourself, Mark. You are a disgrace to the name Yingling. I find myself ashamed to call you Uncle.
To anyone else who reads this message, I apologize for bringing family business into your forum. My Uncle should have had better manners and sense. Sadly, he was devoid of both. I pray you will forgive this intrusion.
