I have information on Isaac YETTER born 10 April 1840 in Monroe Co. PA, his fathers name was Henry H. YETTER, SR. his mother's name was Christiana FRUTCHEY. Isaac was married 22 Jan 1870 to Hellen M. MILLER born 1849, they were married in Terry TWP, Bradford Co. PA. Isaac died 28 April 1915 of Pulmonary Tuberculosis in Wyalusing TWP, Bradford Co. PA and he was buried on the 30th of April in the Frenchtown Cemetery.
Isaac and Hellen had 4 children, Arthur F., Burton G., Ellen M., and Anna D.
Isaac's death certificate is witnessed by his daughter in law, Mrs. Arthur YETTER of Endicott , NY and his personal particulars. He died at the home of his niece Josephine "Aunt Doll" (YETTER) WARING, daughter of Henry H. YETTER, JR, who was brother to Isaac.
I have a copy of his death certificate, his war and pension file, census records, Cemetery records, local historical documented information, my grandmother who was Mary Washington YETTER, wife of Henry LeGrand YETTER, mother to Gertrude and Jane YETTER. These YETTERS were all in this area of Tioga and Bradford and they all knew each other personally, had a lot of reunions and visits.
Henry Le Grand YETTER was son of Frank YETTER who was son of Henry H. YETTER, Jr who was son of Henry H. YETTER, Sr. I have seen a lot of older YETTERS but not any proof as to which one would be the father of Henry H. Sr.
I would be interested in seeing what others have in the way of documented on this family.
