I may have some info for you. Found out that
Yetter's was not the original name. It was
GURTIN which is a German name. Aparently they
went to Nova Scotia, Canada from Germany and
then went in different directions. Some went
to Canada, USA and other parts. So those of
us that have Yetter as the last name are
probably all related.
One of my relations is Joshoph Gurtin born
1818-1899. I was told he came from France, but found out that it is not a French name
but a German name. Now I have to find out
where in Germany they originated. Posted a
message on the German message board.]
