Eric, thanks for your prompt response to my query.

This information may be the link I've been searching for lately. Although it's only a guess at this point, the Rilla Yearian you listed may very well be my grandmother who named one of her sons Charles and another Oscar, the names of your Rilla's brothers. Also, the ages aren't much different and may simply be an error attributable to faulty memories or careless census takers. Definately something to pursue.

Your surname also caught my eye when I read your posting. I remember a Mr. Bosworth who visited my extended family many years ago and was wondering if there is any connection. To avoid boring other Yearian researchers, I won't take up more space here with the topic. But if you like, e-mail me at, and I'll explain further.
