Hi Catherine - your g-g-grandfather was Andrew Charles Terrance Yerex (born: abt. 1805 in Hallowell Township, Prince Edward County, Ont.; died: 22 Jan 1889 in London, Ont.; occupation: Plasterer). He mariied (1) 21 Jan 1834 in London, Ont. to Mary Sumner; and (2) 24 May 1837 in London, Ont. to Wealthy Crouse. Children from his 1st marriage were: (i) William N. Yerex (born 10 Aug 1834)and (ii) J.M. Vincent Yerex (daughter, born ?). Children from his 2nd marriage were: (iii) Isaac Livingstone Yerex (born abt. 1840); (iv) Elizabeth Yerex (born abt. 1843); (v) Thomas Eleazer Yerex (born 15 Nov 1848); (vi) Andrew Huffnail Yerex (born 08 Apr 1847); (vii) James W. Yerex (born abt. 1851); and (viii) Wealthy Nancy Yerex (born ABT. 1854). All children were born in London, Ont.

Andrew's father was William Yerex (born:22 May 1769 in Westchester County, N.Y.; died :06 Jul 1834 in London, Ont. - probably while visiting Andrew), and his grandfather was Issac Yerex, a United Empire Loyalist who was born in Westchester County, N.Y. 22 Apr 1728 and died in Adolphustown, Lennox & Addington County, Ont. 27 May 1788.

I hope this information is helpful. I would appreciate information on your mother and on your parents' marriage. Also, what was your father's occupation? Do you have siblings? Perhaps you could e-mail this to me. If you want more information on your branch of the Yerex tree, I could e-mail it to you.

David.
