CHRISTINE: THIS MAY BE CONFUSING, BUT MIGHT BE A ANSWER. MY NAME IS JAMES DIBRILL YERBY JR. I AM NAMED AFTER MY FATHER,MY MIDDLE IS THE LAST NAME OF THE FAMILY DOCTOR THAT DELIVERED MY FATHER. THERE IS A FAMILY MEMBER OF MINE, A COUSIN WITH A DIFFERENT LAST NAME, THAT HAS THE SAME MIDDLE NAME AS I DO. IT IS KIND OF A OLD SOUTHERN CUSTOM TO GIVE A CHILD THE MIDDLE NAME OF A GOOD FRIEND, OR SOMEONE CLOSE TO THE FAMILY. I HAVE MY FAMILY NAME TRACED BACK TO THE MID 1600'S IN THIS COUNTRY . I CAN NOT FIND ANY " KESTERSON" NAME ANYWHERE. THE YERBY KLAN HAS BEEN HERE SENCE BEGINING OF THIS COUNTRY,BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU ARE NOT RELATED. FIVE BROTHERS, A FATHER, AND A UNCLE WERE THE FIRST TO LAND. THE FAMILY MOVED FURTHER TO THE DEEP SOUTH AS TIME WENT ON. AFTER THE CIVIL WAR, MOST STAYED IN THE SOUTH. ABOUT 1920 MY LINAGE MOVED WEST. HOPE THIS IS OF SOME HELP.-- JIM--
