Tod, I think I may be able to help you on the Yerby boys.
D Yerby was Dewey Newton Yerby KIA Battle of Seven Pines.
Isaac S was Isaac Samuel Yerby B 1836 Fayette, AL and died 1922 in Fayette, AL
James C (not sure of middle name) was B 1838 Fayette Co., AL and D. 1912 Fayette, AL. He was in the battl of South Mtn., VA. He enlisted (as did his brother Isaac S.) on Sept 17, 1861. James C. was captured on night of Sept 17, 1862. Sent to Fort Delaware as a POW. On Oct 2, 1862, was sent to Aiken's Landing, VA to be exchanged on Nov 11, 1862 for Union Prisoners. He returned to the 26th AL after his exchange. He was wounded in the Battle of Gettysburg Jul 1-3, 1863. Taken Prisoner Dec 10, 1864 and sent to Louisville Prison in KY. Arriving there Dec 22, 1864. He was then sent to Camp Chase Prison where he signed the Oath of Allegiance, as did many men in order to survive.
Jasper N was Jasper Newton Yerby B. 1828 Fayette, AL D. Jun 25, 1862. in Battle of Seven Pines.
These 4 boys were sons of Hogan Yerby.
Alexander F. (not sure of middle name) was B.1841 Fayette, AL and D. 1885 MS. No record of his being wounded.
