Hi,
The Alfred Yeoman I am interested in was born 1873 parents were Timothy and Mary Ann (Walls) He was one of ten children as follows; Mary Elizabeth 1862, Isabel 1864, William 1866, Timothy 1871, Alfred 1873, Arthur 1875, Margaret 1878, Edith 1881, Christopher 1883, Minnie 1885.
Christopher migrated to Australia 1910, William married in 1894 in Lancashire and had several children by 1901, Alfred and Arthur both married in Essex and were still there in 1901, Timothy seem to disappear but reappeared in UK and married in 1909. He may have been in the armed forces that went to the Boer War in South Africa. Does any of this match with your family? Our Yeoman was always spelt without the 's' .
