Hello Leigh,
As far as we know Christopher Yeoman was born 1882 or 1883 married Ellen Howard (she was older than him). Marriage early 1900's. Migrated to Australia in 1910 with 2 or 3 young daughters. He returned to UK for WW1 and joined the British Army fought in France. At the end of the war he came back to Australia and his family. His father we believe was Timothy Yeoman mother ??. His father was born about 1836. The only Timothy we can find around that time was born in Yorkshire to a William and Mary. We don't know exactly where Christopher was born but essex, sussex has been suggested. His parents (at least his father Timothy) is reported to have died and is buried at Brighton or Patcham. If the Timothy in the records is the right one he possibly had several siblings, Christopher 1841, Mary 1832, William 1834 all born at Askrigg Yorkshire. This is all I've decovered so far. Do you have any connecting information? We don't know if Christopher (born 1883) had any siblings and would love to find out.
Regards Dorothy
