My name is Evan Scott Yeatts, brother of Ernest Stuart Yeatts III, sons of Ernest Stuart ("Skeeter") Yeatts Jr. b. 1946 and Betty Debusk-Yeatts (Later Debusk-Turner). My Grandfather was Ernest Stuart Yeatts Sr. (B. 1919, D. 1994) brother to Samuel Yeatts (b. 1909(?),D.??), sons of Martin Luther Yeatts (b. ?) and Cora Lee Lloyd Yeatts. My father and I live in Washington Co., VA in the Yeatts home built on property given by the Lloyd family to Martin Luther probably as a wedding gift to Martin Luther and Cora Lee. Samuel would visit often and varied residence between Richlands and Florida... My father thinks that my great grandfather's (Martin Luther's) family was from the Pittsylvania Co. Area, but that's where our information ends... I know this board is very old, but I would appreciate any info that anyone has. My father is very interested with reconnecting with our family in Eastern Virginia. My grandfather and great grandfather had ties to them, but connections were lost over the years... Also, not sure if it's a connection, but my father has a picture given to him by Sammie Yeatts-Wolfe from 1968 of "Tammy" @ 6 years old and it says "Tammy sends you a hug and kiss. Missed you, wish you could have come with Ernest--- Love, Sammie" I have NO idea if that is the same Tammy, but it's a shot in the dark... That's Pretty much everything that I have...
