I have some information on Yeatts of Pittsylvania County, Va. James Crawford Yeatts married Mary E. Dalton. Their son, David Thomas Yeatts married Sarah Jane Oakes. Their children were John, James Oscar, Roy C., Maury M, Mary Ruth, George Talmage, Ocie E., and Lucy Wade. There may have been more that I don't know about. David Thomas Yeatts was born in 1857, and died in 1927. Sarah Jane Oakes died in 1901. David Yeatts was remarried after her death to L. Ella Dalton on 11/24/1901.
Sarah Jane Oakes had been previously married to William Giles. They had a daughter, Nannie M. Giles, who married John Randolph Oakes. Nannie and John were my ggrandparents. William Giles died in 1877.
I will gladly share what information I have, and I would greatly appreciate knowing more about his family.
