I'm always looking for the Yeatts name and am interested in what you said about William Yeatts.

There is one William in our family but they came from England as Yates. It is said that the name Yeatts always has a connection to Pittsylvania County, Virginia but I believe you can prove that is not correct.

Our family came here, John Yates in 1615 and settled near what is now Norfolk, Virginia.

Hope you find your connection.
