Fittleton is about 10 miles north of Salisbury in the Avon Valley, I don't know anywhere called Hackleston, but there is a village next to Fittleton called Haxton - maybe its an older spelling? I have Yeats in my tree livng at Woodford which is about 7 miles down the River Avon from Fittleton. I have Anne Yeats b. 1716 at Woodford, her father Roger, b.1677 at Woodford and his father, also Rodger - with a 'd' - with no date or place of birth, but presumably about 1650 nearby! Hope this is useful to you - I'll be pleased to answer any more questions about Wiltshire or my tree. Good Hunting,

Bernard Rumbold
