In a history of the Tibbetts family is this:
Thomas Tibbetts was b 21 Apr 1776 in Rye, Rockingham NH. His parents were Jacob and Judith (Berry) Tibbetts. After the Rev War they moved their family to Bristol. ME where Thomas grew to manhood. Thomas Tibbetts married Frances Yeaton in 1802 in Bristol, ME. She was the dght of PHILIP YEATON who served in the NH Regiments during the Rev War. WHO was this Philip Yeaton ? Since Thomas and Frances married in Bristol doesn't this indicate that her parents also moved from Rye, NH to ME? Would there have been a marriage license/bond for Thomas and Frances ?
