John,I have corresponded with Martin for 2-3 yrs now off & on.He is a professional at researching the Yeaton Family. He has searched and searched for proof of any & all data pertaining to this family.Believe me, if he finds that information is not valid, he will tell you so in so many words, sometimes a bit abruptly (as he has done with me).As a professional, he seeks the real proof through deeds, wills, church records, etc. & without those, he will not accept the information.I do have to agree with him, so many times errors do get made & are repeated over & over without the proof of documents.
Do not give up on the forums after one attempt, sometimes good, proven information shows up, sometimes what you think is right, someone will tell you that it is incorrect. That is the way Genealogy is.For me, I like the true, proven version.
Stick with us, we may afterall know who Richard's parents really are, and who knows, time may prove they are the ones you think they are.
