To Judith Yeatman,
Im Ken Yeatman, and Im from Nottingham, England.I have also found that there are many,Yeatmans in many parts of the world.We have always insisted that the correct pronunciation is Yeetman not Yateman. While looking into the origins of the name, I found that it originated in the County of Dorset in England.The family name Yeatman has a lovely "Coat of Arms" of which I have a beautiful embroidered speciman.
I would be interested to know if there are any Yeatmans out there who may be connected to the Nottingham Yeatmans
