If your Mary Polly Yeast is the daughter of Jacob Yeast, Jr., then she is the sister to my ancestor Catherine Yeast. Catherine married Phillip Sallee in Mercer Co, Ky.
I have to find my notes on this family.
I know that Phillip & Catherine were on Mercer Co 1850 census, 1860 in Muhlenburg Co, Ky & by 1880 were in LaRue Co, Ky. They probably moved wherever they could get work.
I seem to remember one of Phillip's daughters married a Devine in Washington Co, Ky. Will have to check on that.
Another son was killed around 1900 in a sawmill accident in Muhlenburg Co.
This group of folks were living mostly near the Mercer/Washington Co, Ky dividing line.
