George Peter Yeast was the father of Johan Jacob Yeast, his mother was Maria Catharena (Yeast) George, age 13, arrived in Philadelphia on the ship St. Mark out of Rotterdam with a last stop of Cowes Island, south of England. The family is thought to have come from Hesedaemonradt, Germany. Geeorge's second wife was named Elizabeth.
