Cnthia, in my research of the Yearta family I have found that there is two separate clans of Yearta's in Georgia. One is located south of Macon and my family is located near Bainbridge (southeast corner). I have also found that the same names were used in both families. So.....what may look like the same person on paper may in fact be two different people. My family has a 'George Yearta' that moved to Oklahoma but he was born in 1866. He then changed his name to Yeager. Alot of coincidences in the world of genealogy.
