Hi Eldon; my name is Roy Roland. I am interested in the ALLEY YEARTA that married JOHN ROLAN in Pulaski County on May 9, 1822. On the 1850 census John was shown. Alley Rolan was listed as head of household. All of the family listed were born in Ga. Alley was age 45; Tabithey was female age 17; W.P. male, age 15; Amanda, female age 13 & Marthia, female age 9. Thomas Floyd lived in house on one side and Jas. Giddens on other side. On 1870 census Ally was living with Tabitha Coon, female age 28 and Mary A. Coon, female age 7. Ally age was shown as 55. This census was dated Aug. 23, 1870. Post office shown was Hawkinsville. I am searching for PERRY ROLAND who married MARY SERMONS in 1870-72. I do not know where they were married but Mary was living in Pulaski County in 1880. 1880 census was taken on July 2, 1880. W.P.ROLAN is the nearest to Perry that I have found. There was a Perry Rowland but he was son of Lawson Rowland. Not mine. This is only Yearta-Yearty that I know of that could be part of my family. Any help appreciated. Roy
