Looking for any living kin or info on Lemuel Stinnett who was born 1865, Blount County, TN. Lemuel married maggie Norris Sep-1890 and had the following children:
Mary pearl 1893
John H. 1894
Charles L. 1898-1907
Elzie Irene 1900 - 1902
Tealous 1895 (according to his draft record he had one leg)
Edna 1903-1922 (possibly died in TN)
Lemuel was raised by the family of Lewis Williams founder of the Williams/Henson Lutheran Boys Home.
Lemuel attended school at maryville College.
Obituary:
Lem Yearout, 65, of No. 1512 Euclid Avenue, died at 9 a.m. yesterday at Knoxville General Hospital. Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter of Anniston, Alabama and one brother: John Yearout of Detroit, Michigan. Funeral services will be conducted today at the home and burial will be in Bethel cemetery with Hall and Donahue in charge.
John was not his brother but his son. John Yearout relocated in Michigan. Some also relocated to Alabama:
