I am interested in more data on John B. Yeargan and his family. John B. Yeargan is found in the 1840 census of DeKalb county Ala. residing next to Cary Prince. Cary and John are on the same land patent in DeKalb dated May 1, 1845. Cary Prince is found later in 1850 Phillips county Ark. Evidently, Cary sold his part in the land to John Yeargan. Can anyone identify the Andrew Jackson Yeargan residing in the house of Jeremiah Holcomb in 1850 DeKalb county Ala.? Andrew was born ca. 1837 in Alabama, and appears to be a son of John B. Yeargan. This Andrew Yeargan would later marry Matilda Prince. I have more data for those interested and I need more data on the John B. Yeargan family. Thanks!.........Phil Prince
