Albert F. Yeargain/Margret Day, Oglethorpe Co., GA, 1860

The following couple appears in the 1860 Oglethorpe Co., GA, census, living with the family of William and Susan H. Day in HH/Family 226: Albert F. Yeargain, age 30, M, stone cutter, born SC, and Margret Yeargain, age 20, F, born GA. (Source: ftp://ftp.us-census.org/pub/usgenweb/census/ga/oglethorpe/1860/pg00620.txt)

Do any Yeargain descendants know of the Day family in this 1860 census? William Day, age 42, stone cutter, born in England, and Susan H. Day, age 36, born in Georgia are the probable parents of Margret Yeargain.

There is a marriage record for William Day and Susan H. Britian (marriage date: 24 Jun 1841) in Oglethorpe County, GA. (Source: Ancestry.com database, Georgia Marriages to 1850)

I want to pursue this Day family for my husband, who has Day ancestors from England. Will appreciate any information on this Day family from any Yeargain descendants.

(Mrs.) Jerry Hicks Bailey
