HAS ANYONE LOST A WILLIAM YEARGIN ? I hope someone out there can help, as there arn't any YEAGINS in SC that I can find. The name has to have been changed in the move from SC to TX. The 1880 Polk Co. TX census shows; William YEAGIN, b.ca 1850 SC, d. ca 1886 TX. Wife Sarah Jane b. 8 Jan 1853 SC. Children; John b. 1873 TX., Samuel J. b.1881 TX., George b. TX., Alice b. 1884 TX., Mary D. (Molly) b.TX., Thomas E. b. 1886 TX. After William was killed in an accident involving horses, Sarah J. Yagan married Thomas Tubbs, 6 Jan 1887, Liberty Co. TX. and they had a daughter Lily Tubbs b.1889. Lily thought Sarah's mother was a Mc Crady but wasn't sure. Any help or advise would be appreciated. Thanks, Sandy
