Linda, your Henry is possible my Henry. I am the gr. granddaughter of Henry L. Yearby who married Elizabeth Jane Roberts on Feb. 9,1851 in Jones Co. I also have Nara papers and a letter from Henry wrote during the Civil War just before he died. I also have come to believe that James and Kesiah Yearly are his parents. Recently a suggestion was made to me that Kesiah could be of Indian decent. What do you think? Email me at ladyessen@msn.com for futher infomation. Newman and Jane was not married.
