Dear Gail,
I have a copy of the book, "The Yaple Family in America", by Doris Yaple Geist and her father. Also, I have a photo-copy of "The Record of the Yaple Family", Ann E. Smith, 1895.
However, I am delighted to hear from you. Always glad to meet a Yaple/Heimbach cousin!
I think Susannah/Susanna's name was listed as Susannah in her marriage record to Mathias Heimbach and I've seen it as Susanna many other places. It probably depended more on who was writing the records down than how she actually may have spelled it. How are you related to Susannah and Phillip Henry Yaple? I'd like to hear more from you.
