Yeamans Family Genealogy Forum

Anne Yeamans of Bristol (formerly Tomlinson) widow died in 1668 and desired to be buried in Parish of Stapleton near to her late husband William Yeamans gent. She mentions many kinsmen and women and cousins etc in her will including Susan Rider, Elizabeth Owen and Alice Collins and Thomas Yeamans and John Yeamans, sons and daughters of my brother in law Edward Yeamans. She has a cousin Francis Yeamans. One of the many cousins she mentions is Mary Westfield and that is the one I am particularly interested in. Some of the Wastfield's in Bristol were tied up with the Merchant Venturers of Bristol, Jamaica and the West Indies, Barbados, and also intermarried amongst Quaker families. Some of the people Anne mentions in her will seem to tie in with Sir John Yeamans relatives as well as some of the Wastfield marriages 3 people in her will attended the second marriage of William Penn (the quaker who founded Pennsylvania) Love to discuss Yeamans because I have been trying to find out how Mary Wastfield is her cousin.
