I'm not sure if there are any Catholics. I do know of a William Yeamans who was an outspoken preacher who gave some really wound up sermons at his church. I'm not sure if it was St James or St Phillips (will have to look).

It's not too surprising to see the Yeamans interact with a lot of different folks in Bristol. They were simply all over that place in the late 1500s and 1600s. Stapleton, Broadmead, Bedminster, Clifton, Redcliffe, Redland, etc.

Names such as Carey, Knight, Colston, Cann, Tomlinson, and many others incl. Crump had done some sort of business or even married into the family of Yeamans in Bristol.

No less than 9 members of the family were part of the still extant Merchant Venturers in Bristol. Undoubtedly they were influential to some degree and certainly well known of the city during the 1600s.
